Myofem Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat and prevent polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It also helps to correct the hormonal imbalance and menstrual cycle to achieve ovulation. The polycystic ovarian syndrome is a hormonal disorder common in women of reproductive age. It causes enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges.
Myofem Tablet contains Myo-inositol & D-chiro inositol in 40:1 ratio and vitamin D3, L Methyl folate along with N- Acetyl cysteine. D-chiro inositol and myo-inositol help in follicular development, improve egg quality and restores ovulation in women. Vitamin D3 helps in the regulation of menstruation and improves glucose metabolism. While L Methyl folate is bio-active form of folic acid, N Acetyl cysteine is a powerful antioxidant & has better spectrum of activities as compared to metformin.
You are advised to take Myofem Tablet for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as nausea, headache, tiredness, vomiting, and dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
