Description
In children on AEDs, Neuromuscular disorders, MS, Autism, and Migraine, Dserve 800 I.U provides optimum amount of Vitamin D for all children. Dserve 800 IU supports Bone health and possibly neurological outcomes.
Epilepsy on long-term antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) : AEDs induce hepatic enzymes that break down vitamin D, increasing risk of osteopenia/osteoporosis. Even Neuromuscular disorders (Duchenne muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy, cerebral palsy)cause vitamin D deficiency and higher fracture risk.
In Children with Autism spectrum disorder & developmental delay, evidence of benefit from Dserve 800 IU in reducing behavioral symptoms, though not standard for all is documented.
Vitamin D insufficiency is linked to increased risk and relapses of M.S and supplementation is often recommended.
Migraine & chronic headache
Low vitamin D levels are no w associated with higher frequency/severity of migraine in some pediatric studies.
